A math ​tutor from Hazelwood Park.

All along my 7-year tutoring, I have had wonderful learners, and have delighted in the experience of constantly discovering new ideas of working with a material to make it exciting and pleasurable for the child I am sitting with.

My teaching method

My training philosophy is student-focused: my desire is always to establish a supportive, enjoyable and pleasant workspace for learning to develop.
I respond dynamically to the needs of every single learner I teach, shaping my training manner in the way that it best serves their personality and skill sets.

I also think that learners learn well if they're doing practical things connected to their education. This points to making rhymes, presentations, drawing pictures, writing tasks, using games, and other kinds of interaction, that keeps students active and delighted when it comes to the object.

I teach productively and accurately, promptly investigating areas for recovery, after that applying elementary pattern spotting techniques (when appropriate). I prioritise making basic tasks for the student produce their own sense of the matter. It is a great joy to come up with new and interesting approaches of presenting the theme for it to be always fresh and interesting for both sides.

Feelings, emotions and tutoring mathematics

With the help of encouragement, patience, and humour, I always do my best to teach my scholars that they are capable of much more than they know.
I feel that my desire to adjust teaching approaches in compliance with the wishes of scholars, subject matter, and scholar demographics are all crucial for me to be efficient as a teacher.
My teaching is based on the feeling that the sole way to uncover maths is to do mathematics. Meantime the process of reading examples and proofs from lecture notes and in textbooks is valuable, the real learning comes through personal experience at solving mathematical issues, either theoretical, computational, or both.
I have also uncovered that creating tasks which directly relate to the student's personal life can help out their studying the topic and understanding its application.
